I know your feeling well! I fell in love with Lego at age 8, and since then
that's all I wanted (I'm 34 now). For years though I rarely got Legos for
Christmas or birthdays. Occasionally one set here and there, but if I ever wanted
anything I always had to pay for it myself. Now that I have children I always
make sure they receive an ample supply of Legos for special (and not so special)
events because I never want them to feel the way you feel and I felt.

P.S. My mother bought me the Gungan Sub for my birthday, which is the first lego
she bought me since I was 13 (but who's counting). The constant harping does work!

| Are my parents blind?! This Christmas I got NO I repeat NO Lego. Gee I wonder if they have noticed that 6 ft long Lego ship sitting on the top bed of my bunk bed. Maybe they just thought that 4558 Metroliner was my gift, maybe they thought the dog (...) (24 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
