Good Question - I never thought about it. Remembering back to my youth, I seem
to recall that the 24 was the biggest and most important door, so I would
assume that to be the last door. ie Start at number 1 as I'm sure you've seen
in a few posts.

| (...) seem (...) Definitively: you start at 1 and go to 24, matching the days on the calendar. That's why it's called an advent *calendar*, not an advent goodie countdown. I had one of these every year from when I was just a toddler until I was (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
