Hey all, After another major re-sort of my collection, I decided to separate all the 1x2 grille tiles without the fingernail groove out of my big bag of the grooved kind since it's kinda hard to tell 'em apart while digging. This is a good question -- as a relative newbie to the community, I've often regretted that this is the standard acronym. It's pronunciation is unclear; I've heard old AFOLs say anything from "A.F.O.L." (i.e. just spelling it) to "A-full" (long (...) (21 years ago, 25-May-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.faq)

But they aren't making them. At least, not the ones you linked to on BL. Note the one on Brickshelf is placed into a palmtree base, whereas the older ones had their own bases. The one on Brickshelf is most likely handmade. I'd believe that, (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-05, to lugnet.general)

Fellow LUGNET'ers, I have volunteered to become the curator for .Underground, which I felt could use a little fresh air. The LEGO "Underground" theme (or subtheme) seemed to have never quite reached it's full potential... kind of like a 'diamond in (...)
