Since they haven’t been in any sets for quite some time, and they were never all that abundant to begin with, those granular types of trees are pretty hard to come by these days. I had no idea that LEGO was still making them for use in their parks. Since they can still manufacture them, I sure do wish they’d start selling them.

But they aren't making them. At least, not the ones you linked to on BL. Note the one on Brickshelf is placed into a palmtree base, whereas the older ones had their own bases. The one on Brickshelf is most likely handmade. I'd believe that, (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-05, to lugnet.general)
