New Bob the Builder (was Re: A little more info on Explore)

(...) That one's definitely on the "must buy" list. Thanks for the info! I think there is one more new BTB set: 3282 and it's called something like "Bob and the Clock Tower". I gather this is the one in the bottom left of (URL) Doesn't look to be a (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

Explore now at Legoland,CA (Re: A little more info on Explore)

(...) I was at Legoland, CA today and they seemed to have prettymuch the entire line of Explore (from what I have seen) as well as a few items I had not seen. They had a different bucket from what you descriped above, I missed the item number, but (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.legoland.california)

Re: A little more info on Explore

(...) I have seen the some of the older BtB sets without the Duplo logo. I was at Target yesterday and they had the sets, some had the duplo logo, others of the same set did not have the duplo logo on it. But they did not have the Explore logo on it (...)   Re: A little more info on Explore

(...) It's all one set: 3283 Dizzy's Birdwatch 38 pcs. $34.99. I spotted this set in a Learning Express in Charlotte, NC. I'm not sure if this is the actual retail price since Learning Express sometimes marks things above MSRP. Ken (...) (23 years ago, 27-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

Re: A little more info on Explore

(...) Any sightings of the bigger Bob set(s) i.e. Roley, Dizzy and Pilchard? Not sure if this is all one set or multiples. Thanks Julie and everyone else posting actual sightings, it's good to know that Duplo is living on more or less as it was. (...) (23 years ago, 27-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

A little more info on Explore

I was at Wal-Mart today and they had a few more of the Explore sets out. Bob the Builder seems to be continuing in the Explore line. They had $5.00 sets with 9 pieces, each featuring a character and an activity. I saw: Wallpapering Wendy #3278 Busy (...) (23 years ago, 25-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: LEGO stops DUPLO

(...) *whew* That is good news. I wish they would have put a pic of the bucket in their catalog, woulda saved me some heartache, lol! Although I did get 2 Duplo tubs at Target while I was picking up some of the J.F. Slave I's. I am looking foward to (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: LEGO stops DUPLO

(...) I'd guess this will happen when the moulds have to be replaced due to wear. I actually do/did have new Duplo bricks bought in the last 2 years with Lego stamped on them rather than Duplo. These were most likely from buckets manufactured in (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: LEGO stops DUPLO

(...) I wonder if the bricks will go back to having LEGO rather than DUPLO imprinted inside the studs. Maggie C. (23 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: LEGO stops DUPLO

(...) I saw one of the new Explore sets at Wal-Mart today. It was a yellow bucket and could have easily still said Duplo. There doesn't seem to be too much difference between Explore and Duplo, at least that was the case with this bucket. Bricks and (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  More Explore part 3

Imagination These are the music modules that Rob describes, and basically defy description by the uninformed (i.e. me) so the blame for these set names goes back on Google's translator: 3361 E36,95 Music Twist 3362 E44,95 Music Quilting Dance 1 3363 (...)   More Explore part 2

I've given up on the translator, these are my sloppy descriptions... (baby thinks I should be paying attention to her, not the computer!) Being Me 3616 E30,95 A Duplo police station in a case/backpack which is the building. 3617 E30,95 A playhouse (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  More Explore, including trains

Ok, I'm reading this through google's translation from German, so the set names are not accurate and the prices are Euros which I cannot be bothered translating :) All are stated as available from June. Pictures on the site are not great quality, (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

New Bob and Explore from FBTB

Well, this has possibly been up for ages, but I've only just noticed it. (URL) we can see new Bob the Builder including Roley, Dizzy and a 3D Pilchard (yay!), and an unidentified figure on the top right platform (Spud?) Also, some Explore sets (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: LEGO stops DUPLO

Thanks Rob! Overall, I'm not that impressed with the new products, I hope there is more to it than that. Was interesting to note that the figures etc remain, I see Wendy's ponytail has made it onto standard Duplo figures. I quite liked the new frog (...) (23 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: LEGO stops DUPLO

(...) I am not seeing many Duplo bricks there - only one or two of the sets really has more than what looks like 3 bricks. I hope they have more bricks than they are showing.... Otherwise I am running out to the store and getting some duplo tubs (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: LEGO stops DUPLO

(...) OK, I scanned a few pages for the new Explore brochure which is include in the packaging. The train pics are on the last page: (URL) you can see, LEGO is not discontinueing (sp?) Duplo, they are rebranding and expanding the line to include (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: LEGO stops DUPLO

(...) Hmmm. I don't think I'm in the majority of afol's who get the Duplo for themselves... Yes it's sad that Duplo is being 'discontinued' but it's not being wiped off the planet. Second hand stores and some soap is a great way to get Duplo. Was (...) (23 years ago, 15-May-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.duplo)
