        Re: Whoo hoo!!! —Craig Livingston
(...) I'll second that. Ninja was the first reason that I got back into Lego and I am glad that I no longer have to wade through castle posts looking for the rare ninja post. - Craig (23 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

        Re: Whoo hoo!!! —Christopher Pisciotti
(...) I'll third it :) the Ninja theme was what got me back into Lego too. I was very disappointed it only Ran (pun intended, for you Kurosawa fans) for two years. Christopher Pisciotti (23 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

(...) Not a bad reason to get back into collecting.... personally, I don't know what brought me back into collecting.... maybe it was all the stuff I was missing most of all....fantasies associated with setting up and "playing" with a Lego City, or (...)    (...) ROTFL! I'm also one someone who was lured back into Lego by the Ninja theme. I build lego every spare moment as a boy but dropped out of Lego for about 20 years until I happened to be in a toy store last year and saw the Ninja sets. My (...)    (...) Know that feeling well...lol (and I never really had a dark age) (...) I remember buying the 6089 Stone Tower Bridge and 6093 FNF in the same week shortly after they were released.       (...) When I was in Japan last September, I noticed that there were a lot of Ninja sets on the shelves there. However, it wasn't clear to me if there were lots of Ninja sets because it was selling so well in Japan, or whether because they didn't (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

        Re: Whoo hoo!!! —Chris Barker
(...) Yeah 7,800 yen to be exact. 14,800 yen for the FNF. And we do not have anything like Walmart where stuff can be bought at closeout prices. Even the used pricing in online auctions over here is outragous. (...) Maybe KK could be convinced to (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

        Re: Whoo hoo!!! —Christopher Pisciotti
(...) The Mini Heroes Collection, sets 3344, 3345, 3346, add a little more variation. I especially like 3344 with it's black armor and horned helmet. I think he makes a pretty cool Ronin leader or a Diamyo for your red army. Would have been nice if (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

         Re: Whoo hoo!!! —Bruce Schlickbernd
(...) I looked at all these when I was at Legoland - I felt 3344 was dreadfully overpriced for a single figure. The set with the green ninja was okay, but still on the high side. Bruce (23 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

Re: Whoo hoo!!! —John Robert-Blaze Kanehl
(...) I like the minifig pack and the miniheroes, but more than anything, I wish Lego would release a Ninja accessory pack with swords, helmets, etc so I may continue my tradition of "Samur-izing" every minifig and his brother... I felt the same way (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

(...) I got mine at the new LIC store in Anaheim, CA. They still have a lot available if anyone's intrested in working something out. Sorry if I'm not supposed to ask anything like that in this group. Christopher Pisciotti Loch Forest, CA (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)
