Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) That would be a good way to use up some of those crossbows I've aquired recently. When I start using the ship in my stories, I plan on having "crossbow-gunners" set at stations around the deck. Wilson (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Just a throne

Nothing major, just a throne (thrones?) for Marck and Cleo... In the pictures you can also see that Marck has a different face... I changed that a few months ago, so it's about time I showed it. What you see will (tentatively) be built into the wall (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle) !

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) Crossbow-gunners! Makes a lot of sense, running around and shooting enemies. That would make a great addition to the cannon you already have on deck! What about making ballistas that fire the aquazone harpoons? I've seen them used as missiles (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Realm portals

I have a question for everyone interested in Castle World. I've been reading recently about RDP's (Revolving Door Portals) and was wondering if that was decided to be the "official" portal, or if we could make our own portals and have them be (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Realm portals

(...) Oh, certainly! Anything goes. Craig first suggested the RDPs as a solution for the apparent distance problem - that the realms would be supposedly far apart and the m-fs would not be able to "physically" travel these large distances. The name (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs

(...) I think you missed out on a good opportunity: give the crystal keeper a trans- green lightsaber blade for a "crystal staff". (You could even stick a lighsaber handle and a gem or Rock Raiders crystal on the top of it.) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Yeah, that's the kind of thing I was talking about... :) I hadn't thought of putting the domes horizontally like that. I went home last night and toyed with them a bit. You can get two of them to "sandwich" vertically by using a couple of 1x2 (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)
