Well to some extant they did, with Ninja. Not between the sets, but
both the Ninja's Flying Fortress and the Stone Tower Bridge are
modular and you can put parts for more than one sets together. One of
the few things I have built is most of three Stone Tower Bridge's. I
have the tall structure/covered part on each end and the three center
sections in the middle. I think it looks pretty neat Some time I'll
have to add another center section or two just because I can :^)

| (...) Nitpick! You forgot 6073 Knight's Castle! 6073 and 6074 connect well together, too. :) On top of that, 6080 King's Castle and 6085, when opened, can both accept wall pieces, although they are on baseplates. Anyway, I'd love to see TLC return (...) (25 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.castle)
