  Re: Legend voting

(...) Actually haven't other Legends sets used stickers in some places instead of printing? I forget. (...) Probably... in fact almost certainly. But if they DID bring that 1x1 window back... look out! (...) Almost certainly. (...) Almost certainly. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Legend voting

(...) Did you vote? Did you read the descriptions as you voted? The estimated prices for each set (in USD -AND- Euro no less) was given. I didn't think to record the prices for posterity... I remember the BSB was going to be $100 US... and I think (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER-

(...) I agree with you. The rerelease of 375 will probably have standard pointy visored knight helmets. But it would be cool to have a red and a white one of those! Plus the armor is cool, and the description doesn't say anything about changing (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Legend voting

(...) In the survey itself, they listed the prices. On the page with descriptions before you go into the survey, they don't, and of course you can only vote once. Does anyone have the prices? Peter (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Legend voting

(...) I wonder how much they will charge, should the 375 win. All those solid bricks, plus 14 minifigs, it could get a little pricey. Maybe double the price of the New Blacksmith's Shop. The compromises you spoke of, presumably, would be one or more (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Pitchfork Liberation!

  Re: Legend voting

(...) Just another view here... I think both Peter and Larry make good points. (...) My view on grey is "who cares". We have a good selection of Grey brick available in bulk as well as the "castle expander pack" for the arches. (...) But I don't (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Legend voting

(...) Good analysis. You're prolly right. 375 would have too many compromised in it and doesn't have the curb appeal. We'll see. But as I said on our list, I almost don't care which one wins. I'll be getting multiple copies of the winner in any (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Legend voting

(...) I wouldn't count on this, Larry. 1. The price point of the 6074 makes it extremely appealing, even to non-castleheads. Lots of people can use grey brick--especially Space, and a number of spacies don't think the Battrax is the best choice. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER-

Yes, I read it "If the Yellow Castle becomes a LEGO Legend and is reissued, the knights' helmet and visor would be a little different from the original, updated to be the same shapes as modern-day LEGO helmets." What I'm confused about is where is (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER-

Has anyone from Lego said what the new helmet for 6075 would be? I've browsed through what Jake said but didn't see anything. The only attraction to the 6075 castle for me is the minifigs and gear. If they will not have the same helmets and other (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: -CASTLE _4_ EVER-

(...) Yes sir. (...) Umm.... no, I don't think so. I'll explain further down. (...) Ok, first of all I don't like the Montey Python visor. You can disagree, you are entitled to your opinion, as am I. And I don't like it. I feel it's just too big. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Legend voting

(...) Sounds intereting.... although I already have a yellow castle... still remember getting off the shelf all those many years ago... glad I kept it.... and I also have 4 of the Falcon Fortress.... but you can never have too much Lego..... : ) So (...)   Re: Legend voting

(...) Prolly not, actually. Your theme is going to divide votes among two candidates while the townies, pirates and spacers all have one clear candidate to vote for. In fact, putting two up may have been an evil plot by Jake and co. to make sure a (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  -CASTLE _4_ EVER-

I'm thinkin’ that Castle-heads are in a real bind! Although I find the 6074 (Black Falcon's Fortress) (URL) be the superior Castle model I'm still gonna vote for the classic 6075 (Yellow Castle) (URL) Why you ask? ¯¯¯...¯¯¯ -Well the original does (...)   Re: Legend voting

These are amazing odds no matter what the outcome.) Is it just me, or is (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Legend voting

The one thing I don't kind of like.... they are going to be splitting the Castle vote between 2 sets, which means neither of which will win... Granted, we did already get the GI and the Blacksmith MOC.... so we in all reality have been treated (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Hey all, Did you see the announcement in lego.announce? You can vote on the next legend at: (URL) castle sets are proposed, including the big one. Yup, good old Yellow Castle! Actually all the sets are good, but I sooooo want a Yellow Castle! Bruce (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Hi all, I've added three chapters to my tolkien project: (URL) new ones are "The Road to Isengard", "Flotsam and Jetsam", and "Many Partings."
