My understanding of Castle World is a group of people with a set
story-line from admins...and then try to recreate different sequences
of actions... ie sig-figs and story-lines based on a set of parameters.
Sure there are stories, but I think there is a bunch of control present...
This is a real interesting dilemma that was brought up in this thread though...
what should be the priority of the published work? Should the creation
itself by the objective, and all creative forces there, or the story-line
that goes along with it, or a mixture of both.
Personally, I like a good, detailed story-line over a detailed moc.
I like a lot of originality, yes.
But I think there is a point in which creations get too detailed. Maybe
that's just me. When I build, I like to ork on the KISS principle. Sure
that makes my creations a little bland next to some of the other models, but
it generally saves on pieces (usually), and it mostly isn't what I'd call an
eyesore. (Although, I also like to include something "unusual" or
different in most of my models to make them unique)

I guess that's up to admin, but if the group were to be created, I think
some of the "compartmentalized dorks" would start complaining that the
stories belong in lugnet.publish.stories and not in the main theme groups
(which are largely believed to be reserved to show off mocs in a specific
theme)
Actually if you want to be technical, most of the moc's should be published
in lugnet.announce.moc, and general discussion of each theme should be used
for the individual theme areas....
oops....compartmentalized dork syndrom alert!!!! :)
