Ok I just finished a big project last night using MLCad. I soon found that there was a few missing parts. The first is a train nose, (URL) Second 9v track, curves and straights. Very strange, but just finished transfering home Lego stuff (Win 98) to work laptop (Win2k Pro) and all works fine except there are no scroll bars in the 4 viewing windows in MLCAD 2.12 when in F3 mode (or any other mode for that matter). I (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) Just to close the loop here, I do not use MLCad image generation at all any more. I have switched to LDLite completely for rendering. I'm working on a program that automatically converts model descriptions in LDRAW DAT format and creates step by step construction and part list images using L3P and POV-Ray. While this will technically fit on a 64 meg device (and maybe even on a 32 meg device), I doubt too many people would want to devote such a large percentage of (...) Just install it onto the cd, the same way you would on the hard drive, then make a shortcut from mlcad to the desktop(or where-ever you want it) the shortcut should work as long as the cd is in the drive. I suppose you could do that. You cannot save settings though. So you will have to prepare your settings before you burn the CD I think... I am getting a laptop from my company,but instaling programs is enabled this for staying out of trouble with illegal programs (what i can understand) So I want to now if i can run MLcad from a cd. Has anyone ever thought about compiling MLcad for use with palm pilots or other PDA's? I'm not technically savvy enough to know what the difficulties would be let alone whether or not it's even possible. All I know is that it would make it an even (...) Update I downloaded the complete update for the parts. I extracted the file into the parts directory. Running mklist.exe returned a new parts list. However, the parts needed are not in the complete.exe. I took a look at the official parts list which (...) (22 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
