The replies I've seen posted seem to have taken a turn away from the topic I had wanted to address: to wit, _when_ we are planning to have a new parts update. (...) Well it renders the same way in l3lab so it's a bug in the part. I think the problem is that the inside surface is missing. There seems to be an error in 2357.dat (or in LDGLite). It looks like the winding has been swapped for some of the sides, so the wrong surfaces are drawn. This is only visible in some special cases. Earlier today, I posted a 1x6 brick with the text "Shell" printed on it. I also have a version of this piece that is printed on a clear 1x6. And I'm trying to figure out how to model that in LDraw. Is there any way to control the alpha level of a (...) (24 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

What about a little less democracy? Like in the days when James was the obvious Leader. Let's say one trusted authority, Steve, Lars, anyone-else? looks at the part one at the time.
