The replies I've seen posted seem to have taken
a turn away from the topic I had wanted to address:
to wit, _when_ we are planning to have a new parts update.

If I can do anything to assist in making a new update
happen, _please_ let me know.

As of the last time I checked (just a few minutes ago),
there are over 200 entries at Tore's parts tracker
that are "Completed" (and/or "Updated").

According to a quick check at the LDraw site's download page,
the usual number of parts in an update is around 50 to 100.

If we do not have an update soon, I believe that we may
be setting ourselves up for a more unmanagable update
whenever we _do_ get around to making an update, in that
we may "choke" ourselves on the number of parts files
to be inspected/passed/voted upon (_regardless_ of who
is to do the voting/etc.).

This is _not_ intended as a "flame".  I am merely warning
of what looks like a possible cliff (to me) just down
the road.  :-)  Again, if I can do anything to expedite
a new update, please let me know.

Thanks,
Franklin

We do have quite a lot of DAT files in the queue.
(I've got over 60 files in my "to be voted on" queue
on my PC's hard drive.)

What needs to be done to make this happen?

What can I do to help expedite this process?

I understand that you're operating in a strictly
volunteer capacity in this regard, and I hope
that my questions do not offend.  :-(  That is not
my purpose.  I want to help.  Please advise.

There won't be any more part updates as they were done previously, the basic idea is to be able to run a program that will check for new parts and download them automatically and have the complete.exe package updated at a fixed time interval.
