Lars, I currently have LEdit and MLCad on my computer, but I was thinking of downloading another program, maybe L3P or L3Lab. However, I am not sure what the difference is between these two. I had similar problems a while ago, after several retries sometimes I got a response. Since the last 2 months there is no problem anymore. I can reach ldraw.org at any time. A traceroute is a command to find out what "route" a website takes over the Internet from the server to your machine and vice versa. I have one comment on the part "2079.dat - Technic Liftarm 1 x 9 Offset Cross". (URL) part is basically a "liftarm" type of element, and those usually have a cross axle hole in the origin.
