(...) thanks Jon! yeah, I was actually surpirsed at how well it all came together. Especially since I haven't built anything in almost a year :P I made a sketch of a mecha yesterday afternoon, and it just screamed out to be built. I was having a (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The A.R.C.

Intimidating is definately the best description! I really dig the retro look to it....almost bauhaus mecha. Talk about an amazing render to be dropped in a diorama of some sort. Veddy cool. Great to see some stuff from you again Joel - it's been (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  He's back, he's back!!!

Hi, It's great to see you are back and that you didn't turn away from building LEGO. Would have been a loss of a great talent. - As you just prooved again with the A.R.C. (Is there a name behind the Letters?) About the model: At first I thought (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) thank you, it was good to build again :D I have been lurking here though... and there has been such a great revival to old .space group lately that I guess I got inspired. now we gotta prod Sandlin to get his bricks outta storage ;) cheers! Jk (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The A.R.C.

(...) glad to oblige... here are some more pics: the first two links display some weapons activity. (URL) is all for now, I'm rendered-out for a while, unless anyone has a request for an angle they'd like to see. later! Jk (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The A.R.C.

(...) That's a very nice (and weird, and thought-provoking) MOC. Good to see you're thinking Lego, even if not physically building. :) There are lots of nice things here. The use of the Star-Wars engine pieces on the legs is very nice, and the (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The A.R.C.

I am in awe at this mecha. It's body style seems like an almost highly advanced spider-ball mech from the OLD Johnny Quest animated show. If I remember correctly I think Zin made it. Your style is very catchy. The studless hard lines in the body and (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
