As a builder myself I have an issue with the concept of this group focusing on the Japanese "MECHA" concept. In brief, I dont do designs of this type. Nice. I like the colors, but then, I'm a crazy man. I'm not feeling the mid-torso or the head. The cockpit just look beaky with that boom for the sensor sticking out.
