Well, first of all, Ive been complaining so much about stuff, i realized i
really hadnt contributed ANYTHING lately, so i decided to post up some stuff

Good idea! We like people who post creations rather than just critiquing the
creations of others (points giant foam finger at self)

And last, but definately not least,a Hand held gatling
gun:http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DaLancer/Ogre/guns3.jpg
Its hip mounted and features 6 cooling cannisters on the outside.

I love this gun! Im not too big on weaponry, but this had me staring at it for
a couple of minutes. :)
|
Now for the good stuff.
here
is the finished product:
|
|
a pretty goofy
looking mecha with pointy legs. Well, at least it is different.
|
Extremely cool design. The legs have me thinking about a few ideas Id love to
build up (if I had access to parts right now). The wedge slopes might not be one
of Legos best parts ever made, but it seems to be a part we mech heads love to
use. Great job!

As far as the torso goes, the shoulders are obviously covered with those half
cylinders, but inside i used the balljoint+balljoint holder for the shoulder
joints. For the hands, i used the same thing as my last ogre mecha.
It may not seem like it, but this mecha balances pretty well. it still
requires some time to get it to pose, but it can be done.
|
I believe that! It looks like you have a nice balancing act with regards to the
Satyrs center of gravity.
|
Well, thats all for now. I have a new bricklink order coming in, and school
is out in a little over a week, so expect more from me soon!!

commences drooling in anticipation...

| (...) Yeah, it was my favorite as well, glad you enjoyed it! (...) Oddly enough i have been trying to use some of those brown wedges for ages, usually as swords or arms, i guess they work better as feet! And Many thanks for the kind remarks! (20 years ago, 29-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
