Well, first of all, I've been complaining so much about stuff, i realized i
really hadn't contributed ANYTHING lately, so i decided to post up some stuff i
have completed!
First of all, i've built several new weapons for my previous ogre mecha. They
include:
A small, rapid fire, anti-infantry
weapon:http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DaLancer/Ogre/guns5.jpg
to deal with those pesky masses of unarmored infantry.
Another mecha scale shotgun:

for those up close and personal firefights.
And last, but definately not least,a Hand held gatling
gun:http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DaLancer/Ogre/guns3.jpg
It's hip mounted and features 6 cooling cannisters on the outside.
All of those can be found in this folder:

Now for the good stuff. I really wanted to make something different then what i
had done in the past, so at first i decided to go with a quadraped walker, with
sharp and pointy legs (inspired by all the previous creepy Mocs that hadf been
posted).
Well, i came up with
these:http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DaLancer/Satyr/satyr07.jpg (sorry about
pic quality)
After a good deal of starting at them, i felt that they would make better biped
legs. So i the began to try and make a unique torso to complete the mecha. Well,
about halfway through i realized i wouldn't be able to fit a minifig inside, so
i had to cut back on details and rebuild so i could fit something inside. here
is the "finished" product:
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DaLancer/Satyr/satyr02.jpg a pretty goofy
looking mecha with pointy legs. Well, at least it is different.
As far as the torso goes, the shoulders are obviously covered with those half
cylinders, but inside i used the balljoint+balljoint holder for the shoulder
joints. For the hands, i used the same thing as my last ogre mecha.
It may not seem like it, but this mecha balances pretty well. it still requires
some time to get it to pose, but it can be done.

Well, that's all for now. I have a new bricklink order coming in, and school is
out in a little over a week, so expect more from me soon!!
Also, please give me your feedback on any of the models i posted above, thanks!

| (...) Good idea! We like people who post creations rather than just critiquing the creations of others (points giant foam finger at self) (...) I love this gun! I'm not too big on weaponry, but this had me staring at it for a couple of minutes. :) (...) (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| Satyr. Thats one cool looking, and might I add very original mech! I love the legs and feet, very insectoid in form, nice colour too. The overall design is great, it has some lovely style points, the legsfeet, the shoulders look great, but I would (...) (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
