Its been almost a year since I built my last
bipedal mecha! This time around
however, I have finally succeeded in creating a posable mecha without those
flimsy ball-joints. The result is surprising sturdy, and can accept a variety
of attachments. In the future, I will definitely take the joint ideas I used
for the Centurion and apply them onto larger mecha.
BTW the LDraw file for the Prowler was completed some time ago. Anyone that
is interested can find it here.
Enjoy.

sweet mother of pearl! the prodigal son has returned! or rather, where have you
been, you son-of-a-bipedal-mech? this creation is vintage mladen through and
through. no studs, localized color scheme (which works, btw), a butt-load of
ordinance. i REALLY like your joint ideas. i agree with you about the
ball-and-joint thing--unless you use beau coup friction, it doesnt work with
the heavy mecha (and you must use it on heavy mecha due to its size). i am
gonna have to steal these ideas (ill make sure i give you credit). now for the
dislikes: im not too thrilled about the head. it looks too narrow and
random for the body. try a little more width imho. also, youve done a much
better job with hands in the past than the classic ones you use here. other
than that, this mecha rocks! your weapons ideas are unmatched and i also really
like the feet. welcome back, mladen!

I originally wanted to give the mecha a (URL)-shaped head, but I was getting frustrated with it and gave it up. So yes, the resulting head (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
