Thanks Soren!

I’m not feeling the mid-torso or the head. The cockpit just look beaky with that boom for the sensor sticking out. Perhaps if you moved the sensor pack down a couple of bricks.

I kinda like the sensor turret. :-(

So do I, I just think it looks silly where it is.

And what funky hallucinogen inspired you to stick a big fin on the head? I know, I can’t talk, I build stuff like that all the time, but it looks really weird on this design.

Dude... It’s an officer mecha, and it’s called Centurion... Can you figure it out by yourself?

Yeah, I get the idea but I still don’t like the look. What’s with the attitude?

The acceesories are cool, my favorite being the thruster pack. The assault rifle seems kinda generic though. Maybe one of these would suit it better.

(Link snipped)

It’s funny you say my rifle is generic, when it’s based on one of the best modern assault rifles to date: the HK Gewehr 36 used by the Bundeswehr.

So? I still think the execution is lacking. What does your inspiration have to do with this?

Note how my rifle has such rifly features as a carrying handle, a neato long barrel, a tubular stock, and an angled magazine...

Also that it’s pretty simply constructed. I think you’ve got more schleim than this in you man, that’s all.

By comparison your rifle looks like a block,

So does a FAL, and it’s a darn good rifle. So does yours, come to think of it.

has iron-sights (what the hell is up with that?)

Every now and then fancy electronics fail y’know. Besides, it looks cool.

a boring straight clip in the same colour as the rifle,

And? You’ve done the same thing before.

and a flimsy looking stock and handle.

The G36 has a stock of similar configuration, at least every model I’ve seen. The handle was designed to interface with 90% of existing hands. Certain compromises had to be made.

I just posted it because I thought you might be interested. I’ve had it lying around for a while and it seemed like your kind of thing. I ceratinly wasn’t expecting to spend more than a minute or two reponding.

Mladen, if you’re looking for an argument I’d be happy to oblige you, but let’s take it to e-mail okay? I don’t get off on your egotistical bitchiness and I doubt anyone else here does.

FUT o-t debate, just in case. And my apologies to the rest of .mecha for this post.

Soren
