Presenting, the Shen Kai Powersuit (Thunder Armor, for those wanting to
know):
I was trying to present a different side of the JE while still maintaining
the basic oriental/technorganic influence (got the dino tails in there,
Ryan!). This is a bit grittier and not-as-clean as most of the other JE mocs.
I tried to keep the eastern feel to it tho. Many of the Japanese builders,
as well as Soren’s stuff, influenced the evolution of this one heavily.

Killer hardsuit Chris! It’s amazing how small yet “hardy” it looks. I like the
colours a lot also, and it looks like you tried to group them as best as you
could. I do think you could have given more spice to those weapons, nothing
radical, just maybe adding stocks (using maybe those lightsaber bars?) or giving
them more shape (using 1x2 inverted slopes perhaps?). Overall, well done.
BTW where did you get those 1x1 sand green tiles? I’ve never seen those before.

| (...) Yo, thanks Mladen. The color grouping actually sort of happened by accident. This was strictly a "whatever works and fits in the required space" build. Glad it looks like I tried tho. :-) As for the weapons, I did have the rifle a lot beefier (...) (21 years ago, 22-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
