Better version? I can’t even get it to match yours. I was unsure about some
of the torso construction (a pic without the pilot in his seat would help out
a lot *winkwink*) so the torso parts are kind of off, and I’m not sure I
figured out exactly the way you attached the arms to the body (I ended up
using a 4-stud length lightsaber bar, not sure if thats what it is in yours).
Also, because of a diminished grey parts selection thanks to a certain big
moc, my version is a mishmash of light and dark greys with the requisite sand
green.

Great model, Chris! Putting it all together and seeing it whole really
confirms my impressions of what a great builder you are.

Dude, ask and ye shall receive:
That battle droid body is the key. Really sweet job replicating the suit. I
love the way you substituted a 2x3 plate and 1x2 tile on the leg where I used a
2x4 plate. Allows for much more ankle motion. The change has already been made
on mine. :-) And the coolest of all is the pic with your suit in front of
printouts of mine. That’s just about the biggest compliment a builder can get,
IMO. So sincerely, thanks.

Just finished the model with all the right pieces and it definitely seals up a bit nicer around the pilot. I forgot to say earlier (...)
