In a blur of Mlcading I completed a dat model of my J-21 Repair Mech (I like mech over mecha). The minifig operator of this mech seems to making claims about his prowess as a fisher. I took the nearly-useless Throwbot shooter arms and cut them off near the ball-joint (where there's a technic axle shape) This allows them to be set into anything that can accept a technic axle. i'd have to agree with mladen on this one- the whole point of lego is creativity. i'd take the same approach i do with TLC models- build a copy first to familiarize yourself with any new pieces and their useage, then proceed to invent your own uses. How many is too much I ask, well I plan on making a total of 15 weapons that can be held by pretty much any mecha with mini-fig legs for fingers...included in that package will be some design such as(my favorite up close)a dual laser beam scythe, a (...) I have created an unarmed minifig scale mech. The legs are the same as those on the J-27 Hoptite. It has a grasping arm and a laser cutter/drill arm and tool packs attached at the legs.
