Cafe Corner is great. I have been making buildings with angled sides for years,
but never used the techniques used in Cafe Corner. So it was nice to see a new
approach.
But, for me, it is more the parts that inspire me. I love looking at a new set
and seeing new parts for the first time and coming up with a use for them.
The wheel wells/fenders on the more recent town vehicles is a good example of
this. Once I saw a leaked image of the fire truck (one of the first sets with
this part) I knew exactly what I was going to do with that part. (a window
lintel of course!).
The Harry Potter spiral stairs are another one. I knew I wanted to see if they
would work as a column for a building.
Thanks for the post, I have enjoyed reading the replies thus far.
Best,
Jonathan
