  IP2002 quad cannon flyer

I have emerged from deep hibernation from LEGO and whipped out a few new MOCs... IP2002 Quad cannon flyer (URL) Think of it as a sort of helicopter, but without the rotor.   Re: First MOC post--minifig scale dropship

(...) Glad you liked it! It is big, about 115 studs long by 40 wide by 42 high. I plan on a re-design someday with some styling improvements, but I thought I should document the original in case the redesign doesn't turn out. (20 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: First MOC post--minifig scale dropship

(...) Praise from the "Master of Mecha"? Awesome! (...) You're not kidding when you say "years worth". I still remember the "Galaxy Explorer" (497) I got in 1979 as my best Christmas present ever.   Re: Every piece has its purpose.....almost!

(...) I hope not. I honestly hadn't even thought about that. I have heard of problems with StarWars and Star Trek. Lets just say it's a model "inspired" by the Honda Element! I did see Erics rendition, it was really good! (20 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.build)

  Recent microscales on Brickshelf

Hi all, I just wanted to highlight some recent microscale creations I've seen on Brickshelf. First up, this cool SW ship by Rougebantha. Anyone know who this is? Would the real Rougebantha please stand up and take a bow. (URL) SW MOC, a diorama from (...) (20 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Every piece has its purpose.....almost!

(...) It's a very lovely rendition. I think Eric H. has built an Element too. Are there any legal/copyright issues with selling such a design to the public? J. Spencer Rezkalla (and no, I'm not a lawyer!) (20 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: A GeeBee for the Zoo...

(...) Hey congratulations on getting the contract. Sounds like it should be lots of fun. From the info on the website, sounds like they will only be open til 5pm.   A GeeBee for the Zoo...

Oh, forget the delay, I can't hold out on this! I've been commissioned by the (URL) Kalamazoo Air Zoo>, a new air & space museum in Kalamazoo, MI, to build a sculpture for their grand opening.   Every piece has its purpose.....almost!

Hello! Here are some images of my latest creation, the Honda Element. This was created for a client who wanted a LEGO version of the popular SUV. It's pretty basic, but I guess that is the fault of the real vehicle designers, not me! Most people (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.build) !

Re: First MOC post--minifig scale dropship

(...) Nice ship, way bigger than I thought at first glace. Impressive. I really like the engine area. The mecha are also very nice. I don't like the sides as much: I like using plates as walls myself, and I also actually like some bare surfaces, but (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: About a gate and a cross... oh and some new pictures of a temple

(...) Simple asnwer... I don't like colour to much :) In grey the structure and lines of the building stand out better, so I kept it that way. With colours it very easy the look gets to "buzy".   Re: First MOC post--minifig scale dropship
