Hello, my Mecha building friends,

Eric, I've seen your stuff before...knew your work before I knew your name...I'm
surely not the first person to say 'damn Eric, those robots are huge'...an
unoriginal sentiment perhaps, but from the heart...good work, sir.
Was it you who put Agatha on the New Mecha bit in the sidebar? If it was, thank
you kindly...

I'm still primarily into the small scale robot thing, and there's loads more
mileage in my quest to make the perfect little robot (under 2" tall). Presented
for your pleasure, some of Agatha's sisters:

Aside from those little darlings, I've had a go at doing some medium sized
robots. They stand about 6-7" tall, and are an excellent opportunity to go
overboard with the greebling. There are preview pictures in my 'Shelf gallery
but I'm not going to hype them until I've got better pictures.

I've got decent pictures of my second Gla based warrior. Lord Praxis, Celestial
Guardian of space and time. He's a massive (well, massive for me - probably not
for you, Eric) machine, mostly white in colour, but with a secondary hue
planned.

Praxis has taken six months to get to this stage...it's been a massive
investment lasting many sessions...all to make one big fella...Still gonna do
more though...

By the way, has anyone ever put a 9v battery box and lighting system into a Gla
sized armature? Did it still stand upright?

One final thing...I'm thinking of doing custom robot kits...anyone got any tips?

Take care, y'all,

Pete

Hey Peter, I have been checking out your work on Brickshelf too! Thank you for the kind words. I visited you MOCpages and left reviews. Gotta love MOCpages, Brickshelf and LUGNET heh? Pardon, but did I see some of your Mecha on Brickshelf in John (...) (20 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)
