I am not sure if using Bionicle parts is fully acceptable in this group, but
this is my first MOC Mecha.  I found it easier to use Bionicle parts because of
the joints.  I am trying to learn how to use basic bricks to create the various
joints, but have been unsuccessful so far.  Opinions on design and presentation
would be appreciated.

(...) bionicle creations, as they all look the same to me, but this one looks different. However, i would still classify this as 'Bionicle" and not mecha. I say this beacuse that is my view of mecha, although not necessarily everyone elses. I really (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Rakshi heads are the coolest aren't they! As for brick joints, perhaps a trip to the LMHoF would help. There you can see lot's of ways people use different kinds of parts to help create the limbs on various kinds of Mecha. Also, feel free to ask or (...) (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)
