I know I've been busy. It happens.

Also, a lot of mechers tend to post only to the creations that really impress
them. Not because they're snobs, but because they've only got so much time.

Not trying to be nasty, just tired of hearing people complain about feedback,
here and elsewhere.

Ok, i hate to add more off-topic stuff to this thread, but i just have to say
something. i understand what you are saying, but it is very discouraging to take
the time to build something, ask people to see how they like it, and get ZERO
responses. I know that no one has to respond, but it just pains me to see some
beginners getting shut-out because one of the "big-timers" has put out another
new mech that takes all the attention, while the beginner gets no feedback, and
is forced to believe that their stuff really wasn't all that great.

Also, in all honesty, if you are building lego, uploading them to a image
gallery (or two) and posting about them on an online forum, i believe that one
would have PLENTY of time to take the 2-3 required minutes to give a few
pointers.
This isnt a direct assault on anyone, i just feel that beginners need feedback
too. I mean, if your first posted mecha on lugnet recieve absolutely no
responses, and no criticism, yet the "regulars" posted their stuff and got
massive feedback, how would you feel?

(...) I understand, it would be cool if we all posted more. We could have a really fun place. Moreso than now. Like heeps and gobs of mechs and posts, lots of mecha maddness! <www.biomechanicalbricks.com e> (20 years ago, 1-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
