I took inspiration from the Talon dropship of the Mechwarrior universe, and
the Pillar of Autumn starship (narrow hexagonal cross-section) from the XBox
game Halo.

I’ve always wanted to build a mechwarrior-style dropship, the were always the
coolest :D VERY nice engines, the xpod tops and even the lt grey barrels are
very nice touches! I also like the blue missle packs on the front of the ship,
very evil looking :)

It holds either two heavy mechs or one (smallish) assault mech in the center
section and either a medium mech or a light mech plus some power suits in
both the front and back section.

Those mecha are awesome! The big ones on the far left and far right are my
favorites, although the sand blue+tan “fafnir/razorback” hybrid type thing
looks real cool.

It’s definitely not as cool as some of the craft they’ve got on .space, but
let’s face it, aren’t mech dropships basically the panel-vans of 31st century
combat?

All in all a very nice first MOC post, a great ship, great mecha, thats more
than i can say about my first post :) And welcome to .mecha, I hope to see more
from you, especially some individual shots of those mechs!
