About Troy...

I'm not sure about the movie -- I hope it doesn't suck -- but I have been
following the comic _Age of Bronze_ for some years and prefer that for
references for MOCs. Eric Shanower uses every real detail he can get, while
trying to construct a plausible story that uses large amounts of the traditions
about all things Trojan War. The story has been told thousands of times (I can
remember exactly when and where I first heard it.) Homer's, most famous, is only
a fragment and one version of it. Perhaps we will yet discover the lost episodes
added by other writers of the ancient world, but for now Hollywood is having
another go at it. It's a pity that Ray Harryhausen did not get to make it (after
Clash of the Titans, it was considered.)

Susan Hoover, one who has the true Lego spirit (hint: it's yellow and smiley
faced) recently posted building instructions for her Trojan Horse. You know, the
one that kept showing up in club.lego.com galleries under other people's names.

I have my Greeks, but they're not all ready nor fully equipped and I've just added the Phagians (...) (20 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming)
