Or did you quick take
photos while a friend threw pigs at you? :)
Heh. None of them are actually in motion as the photo was being snapped.
Too bad, I was imagining you ducking flying pigs and taking photos. --In a
little aside, I used to play roller hockey before I got old and wimpy. One time
I was taking pictures and trying to get some action shots, so I asked a friend
to come at me like he was shooting the puck (well, tennis ball). The thing is,
he actually shot, and the ball hit me in the face (not hard, but still it was a
lucky thing it was a tennis ball rather than a hard puck). I did get this
really great action shot with him following through and the ball in the air,
though, so it was a worthwhile sacrifice in the pursuit of the photo.

In 30-31, how is the left-hand
demoniacs right hand held on?
Heres the answer -- the same setup
from a different angle.
Thats so cool! You should have a gallery of photos like this--I remember you
showed before pics of how the Exodus God-cloud was held up. I find these
explanation photos really interesting.
Im not sure if this looks quite as good
in the end, but I can sleep far more easily knowing I found a LEGO way out.
I think the illusion works very well. The tube thing is also a good idea. I
didnt comment on Caspers photo, but that was a great MOC.
And why is John wearing a belt if he doesnt have pants? ;)
That was the style for beloved disciples at the time, I understand.
It still is for some of us. @8^)
See, I just find the metal buckle to be really cold against my skin when I go
fishing like this, so I prefer to go beltless.
Whats up with the cooked fish? Is that new light-bluish-gray? Or sand
blue? If so, from what set?
Its a lighting thing. Theyre just plain ol light gray.
Too bad. I was hoping for new fish options.
That is indeed red Indian feathers. I couldnt think of where they came from
offhand, but thank goodness
Peeron does.
Aha. I went looking, but only found this:
http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/471p01
and didnt check the similar elments link. I just saw that the other feathers
piece is in dark gray in the new HP set with Buckbeak.
Hmmm, I wasnt too taken by the other parables, in terms of
illustration-potential.
I was thinking of the foolish man who built his house upon the sand, the good
Samaratan, some of the more metaphoric ones like the the Word is like seed
thrown on various soils one.
I actually did do Jesus walking on water, briefly, in one of the stories for
The Law.
Aha!

I knew I wasnt completely nuts. Partly, sure, but not completely.
And furthermore, my
girlfriend is going to kick my ass if I dont get back to illustrating the
Old Tetsament where all the good stories are. Youll have to forgive her
slight Jewish bias on the matter.
Im personally looking forward to seeing how you approach some of the completely
non-narrative things like Psalms and Revelations.
