  Re: Drawbridge help needed!

(...) I thought of using old "D-size" batteries; I used 4 of them, but they were not even close to enough. I'm thinking of placing them higher, and maybe "covering" the track with them - but, like I said earlier, space may become a problem. My dad (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

(...) The latter. I'm not sure if I can fit such a big structure behind the bridge, since it is possible that other structures may interfere with that placement of the counterbalance mechanism (namely, a possible crossing viaduct). As ussual, your onto something. Since I know zipo about HTML, I lucked out when I brought my Lap-top. It came loaded with a Web-builder program called "Trellix Web". Aaron & All, (...) Well, IIRC, that Amy had every single minifig (600+) she owned in this church, and it still wasn't enough. And much to my disappointment, she didn't want a few legions of Futuron's to help fill it up! : ) Scott S. -- (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Drawbridge help needed!

Hi all, I am currently building a small drawbridge for my train using Technic elements, but I came across a difficulty which I was not expecting to be so problematic: the need of a "counter-weight".
