Yes Bruce, you pointed out a very interesting discussion-theme, I guess.
I'll try to tell you....I'm sorry in advance for my poor English.....
In my case, I selected 3 types.
1: A highly skilled reappearance of unique reality by LEGOLAND-scale
An InterNet-Cafe, an Olympic-Scene, a Club with groovy-trans,
New LEGOLAND town set that I've never met before !
Those can be my favorite models.
2: A building-model filled with unique ideas
That's a spring of idea ! Great interior decoration (with minifigs!),
Expressive exterior arts,,,, those factors inspire me.
It's a big reason I join this contest.
3: 4-stud-wide vehicle.
I'm an enthusiastic LEGOLAND-MANIA(hackneyed expression X-)),
so it's extremely important for me to build detailed informative
cars and trucks in 4-stud-wide.
====================================
By the way, I'll talk about it one more.
I prefer the voting way in last year TOWN-CON than this year's one.
Because voting is very tough as Bruce told,
and I wonder that most models will get less votes than last year :-)))
NO, no, no, it's not just a joke,
I'm worried that this voting-way make some (ummmmm, how will I express,,,)
"unpopular" category.
In Unpopular Category:
Builder;A Ooops. I got 0-vote on my model.... B-(
Builder;B Yeeeeeees!! I won by 1-vote !!!!!!!! X-))))
Builder;C Okay guys, we all should entry "Town-Layout" in the next year. :)
Many votes will express that how models are in each category.
That result is a little important iformation for builders
who joined this contest.
Of course, I believe that I understand what, why, and how Master-Kevin
intended this voting-way in this year.
And I express my biggest gratitude to Kevin for holding this exciting contest.
====================================
Wooooo,oh, I've written a long loooong boring post.
After all, Voting may be not so important for us :)
Aren't you ? B))))

| Hi all, How did you approach voting for the town contest? I'm not looking for what models you voted for (we'll know the winners soon enough), but for your approach. Since we had to cast only three votes overall, rather than voting within each (...) (23 years ago, 1-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.contests)
