Hi all,

How did you approach voting for the town contest?  I'm not looking for what
models you voted for (we'll know the winners soon enough), but for your
approach.  Since we had to cast only three votes overall, rather than voting
within each category, it was really tough.  How do you compare a car made
with under 50 pieces to a layout on the scale of the models in the "Town
Layout" category?  On the sheer "wow" factor, you almost have to put all
your votes in that category, as some of those are really amazing.  On the
other hand, a small vehicle can be just as challenging a build--trying to
come up with an original and good-looking model with a small number of
pieces.  In the end I split my votes.  I tried to vote for both my favorite
large scale and my favorite small scale MOCs.

Weeellll I came across this too, for the entries I were to vote for.

I thought how am I going to bring it down to three let alone compare
vehicles to large massive scale buildings... the only way I did it was first
of all choose atleast 1 building (since I like buildings) and 1 vehicle.

I'm not sooo into vehicles, not the tech side of them anyway, and thought
that someone else may be more interested in them rather than buildings anyway.

I looked at *ALL* of the entries, which I think everyone should (if
possible), to be fair to all entries.  Never know what ya might miss out, in
any theme.

I found there were a few entries under transport (covering all vehicles etc)
that I liked or were built well with imagination and that's how I chose what
I chose.  Same idea with the buildings.

Some may not agree with my way of voting but, if I went with everyone's
idea, I'd be in the mad house by now ;)

I'm not saying what my 3rd choice was, an extra building or vehicle, except
I did choose 1 Vehicle and 1 Building :) - it was a hard choice.

Anyway... should be time to cough up the winners soon I guess...

Mel (in the end had to bring it down from 4 faves to 3!!! decisions, decisions!)
