Hi all,

How did you approach voting for the town contest?  I'm not looking for what

I appreciate everyone's thoughts on the voting method. I agree that it would
be very hard to choose just three models to vote for. (Lucky me, I didn't
have to choose :-)  )

As you probably realise, I changed the method this year so that it would be
possible to get an overall winner without tying myself in knots trying to
balance different numbers of votes cast in different categories, etc.

In hindsight, three votes was certainly too few. How many would be enough?
Six? 10? Separate votes for overall winner and category winners?

Oh, and the winners are up...

(...) I'd say one vote in each category plus one to cast for overall winner, but I reallize that that makes vote tallying more cumbersome. I wasn't complaining about the method, btw, just trying to see how others approached this decision. There were (...) (22 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

Hi all, How did you approach voting for the town contest? I'm not looking for what models you voted for (we'll know the winners soon enough), but for your approach. Since we had to cast only three votes overall, rather than voting within each (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.contests)
