Thanks Gil. I'm actually quite proud of how the MiG-21 turned out. When I
first tried to build the MiG, I used standard wing plates to make the delta
wing, but this technique didn't provide the proper wing aspect ratio. In
many ways, the seemingly simple MiG-21 was more difficult to build than its
larger cousins, which were basically two nacelles attached to the bottom of
the wing/main fuselage. I'll probably use that SNOT style on other delta
wing types once I figure out how to do Mirage style intake cones.

| Bryce, Amazing stuff....feels like a page right out of Janes. Particuliarly the MiGs....the oblong profiles are always so difficult to render. The SNOT use on the MiG 21 works beautifully. Can't wait to see more! Cheers, -G (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.military)
