Kyle, Thanks! Yes, that is a lot of plates. It took a good salvaging operation to get all of the light greys, but I did it! Great work Chris! That is one awesome mech. The legs are so detailed, very well crafted, the feet have a very neat design to them too. Why is it when I look at te Zion I start drooling? That is one NICE mecha, Chris! It's quite the cool Gundam variant....the chest is my favorite part on it. I've created a program that'll create minifig clothing stickers in any color combination you'd like... How about mixing in a minifig cup <part:3899> with the round 1x1 bricks? I don't have any handy at the moment, but if I recall correctly the recessed bottom of the round bricks will fit into the top of the cup. Then you can use a clip to attach the (...) Build a 1x1 "headlight" into the body of the missle? That way it can be attached many different ways. I use this all the time. Here, I even found the part: (URL) non-LEGO solution is to use the round version of this part: (URL) MEGABLOCKS or one of (...) Very nice mecha. I like the backstory. What strikes me most about this mecha is the organic hunched feel. The posture really gives it personality. Good articulation on the neck as well. Has anyone come up with a good solution for mounting 1x1 round rockets/missles horizontally to the underside of wings or onto the back of armoured vehicles. Great mecha Lindsay, very great mecha. Good form, I espeically like the head, and the articulation in the neck is great, it makes it look like it has some personality. Hey there, LFB! I like it! I like it! Your 'Toad' walker looks like an AT-ST on steroids...it has a nice bulky look to it without actually being bulky. Seeing the general buzz that's always in .build.mecha and my desire to continue procrastinating on this grant proposal, I've been inspired to risk rendering a 20-year- old design into LEGO. John, A few of us got together to 'do the math' on the various sets that contain the 'ball with axle-hole' part in them. We discovered that, using retail prices only, Pohatu was by far the best deal.
