Knowing this, expect to see a lot of political talk. Patlabor 1 & 2 were filled
with great characters, and interesting plot.

Well that's good, movie's without a plot but lot's of action stink IMO (ex. MI2)

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to question all of you anime savvy
guys/gals out there that have seen this about how this (and the mobile
armour within the movie) compares with other anime, I wanna know if it is
the cream of the crop and as good as anime get's, or if it's just okay.

I have yet to see Gasaraki, but from what I've read it's one of the most
"realistic" mecha anime out there... I've analyzed the mecha from the show
(pics from the 'net), very, very cool.

I'm 5 min. in right now, their's an awesome mecha drop ship at the begining,
very similar to your's, the four mechs are in pairs side by side on a set of
rails and parachute out the back, very neat. Hopefully it's stays this way
right through.

Thanks for the info Mladen!
