If you are looking for good mech action just check out the first four and last
four episodes of Gundam Wing. I was a hardcore Star Wars fan for a decades: I
have seen the trilogy hundredths of times (literally) and own hundredths of
dollars worth of merchandising. These eight episodes are ALL that it took for
me to be converted from the Battle Star Galactica style of space combat (from
which spawn Star Wars, Star Trek, Babylon 5 etc.) to the anime mech style of
combat. Ten years erased by eight episodes, so check them out!

P.S.
Or if you have Cartoon Network just stay up until midnight and check out the
8th Ms Team.
