While I was talking to a fellow LEGO maniac on BrickLUG, I gave him some tips
on how to build good MOCs with a small collections.
Gather up all the pieces of a certain colour, ex. tan or green.
Pick another colour and round up all the pieces again.
Pick a trans colour for a canopy/windscreen/light.
Think about how each piece could be used in one area of a design. Make several
of these types of observations.
Build!
This is how many of my models are built.
My black, grey, red, etc. collections are large now, but I still use this
technique for colours that I have few of (ex. tan).
Hope this helps someone.
