Yeah I've seen a ton of guns using the technic pulleys and axels. Actually the mini-gun idea is Terry Keller's design: (URL) ammunition belt is my own idea. I used it here too: (URL) have even more ideas on how to create mini-guns and clips, just hold on...   May I present, the AS-4 "Raven"!!
 
The Atmospheric Speeder Mark 4, codenamed Raven. Used as a light recon vehcile in the military, or that fast ride for civilian use. K'nex is now available in .dat-file format! Over the past couple of months, I have built a library consisting of 17 parts and 8 primitives with which you can make virtual models of K'nex constructions. (...) improvement would be antialiasing the edges of the lines and objects in your images so they aren't so jagged. If you're using Photoshop or a similar program, it should be easy to turn on.
