Where's the line?

If it's a straight sale, then .market.buy-sell-trade; if it's an auction
(i.e., soliciting progressively higher bids from earlier bids), then
market.auction, if you're a retailer (e.g., BusyBee, TRU, Target, S@H,
etc.) or you're posting independently about something a retailer has for
sale (on sale or straight sale), then .market.shopping; if it's about LSAHS
in particular, then .announce.lsahs.

If MTW sells an item via eBay, then it should be announced in
market.auction.  If MTW sells an item at a fixed, non-negotiable price,
then it should be announced in .market.buy-sell-trade or _maybe_ in
market.shopping if the item can be purchased in an automated and completely
impersonal way -- although .shopping was really set up for retailers.
