I don't think it's a problem with LUGNET. Check the Last Read Server Article
(or equivalent option) that tells the newsreader not to download anything too
old - it may be based on the date.
Have you just done connected to LUGNET on Turnpike or was it previously working
but for no reason has gone wrong.
This could be a Year 2000 bug if it's going back to Last January - some problem
with the year.
