I’m happy to be helpful. The Google ads aren’t irritating at all (they have a
very good ads system) but it is important to don’t make the whole webpage
annoying (a bad layout makes it non user-friendly).
Anyway, here you can see how I see the Lugnet page of the ItLUG newsgroup:
My OS is Windows XP (service pack 2) with Firefox 2.0 and a display resolution
of 1280x1024. Instead the 300x300 box, I would put a small banner (234x60 or
486x60 pixel... yea, I use Google ads too).

| Luca, thanks for the screenshot - this really helps me evaluate where I could optimize the layout to maintain user-friendliness. I will try some changes later today and see what will happen. I think especially changing the size of the 300*300 box (...) (17 years ago, 16-Dec-07, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)
