  Re: Zellers and Lego

(...) John, I was at my local (Brantford, Ontario) Zellers on Sunday for the BOGOHO and didn't see anything that "turned my crank". I did see a few 7201s but even using BOGOHO I don't like the price - 46 pieces for $15+tax? (assuming you buy two (...) (23 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Zeller's 50% off clearance toys

(...) What??! I specifically emailed Zellers about this, asking if they had a price guarantee policy, and what the time limit was. They told me it was only good for items originally bought at "regular price"..., discounted and on-sale items the (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Soccer team bus with soccer ball --- TRU exclusive?

I've found a lot of cool stuff at my local TRUs lately (Star Wars bucket, the enormous Tie-Fighter and X-Wing models), but I'm most excited by the soccer team bus with that cute soccer ball promo! Does anyone know -- is this a TRU exclusive, or (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

New to PBforth - a few questions

Hello, I just installed PBforth and the associated GUI interface. It works great! However I do have a few questions to anyone who can help. If I type or just hit the enter key things seem OK. But after it sits for a few moments it gets junk on the (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

Re: In the News - Paypal & scam artist

(...) But the Post Office does help people that get ripped off though the mail. They even have their own police force, the Postal Inspectors, to enforce mail fraud laws. On a side note, my boss was a victim of a different sort of Paypal scam. (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: light sensor problem?

(...) Having fixed the other screwup, I can report that snipping the code I discussed earlier allows everything to build just fine. It doesn't, however, solve the issue with the light sensors. I also tried swapping the two lines I mentioned earlier: (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Long post.. you've been warned. (...) Agreed.. good post! (...) At least two reasons exist for this, and both can apply to varying degrees. The first reason is "I'm a big boy now". Just to help you out a bit, the least expensive course for you would be to get the Kingdom Come graphic novel by Mark Waid with art by Alex Ross (my hero). It's available pretty cheap on amazon.com. I'm looking for some information on a catalogue I acquired yesterday in a bunch of mixed parts from the 50's (?) to possibly the 80's.
