Just about every time I read a message from "Chris" in this newsgroup, my browser asks if I want to send a reply indicating I received the message. I have some problems with this. Nicole, In Outlook Express message window (where you type your new message or reply to a message) click on the menu "View", then click on "All headers". Then you will see a new address line entry, which labeled as "Followup-To". I hope this would (...) (23 years ago, 10-Aug-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Hi again. I think I couldn't describe my problem properly. I understand what the "follow-up" header is. The thing that I wand to learn is how can I add this header to my message while using MS Outlook Express. Actually, there is no entry like (...) (26 years ago, 21-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

I use Outlook Express to post successfully, and my setup is very similar. The only thing that might be wrong is your 'True Name' is different from your 'News Name'. I suspect that if it matters at all you need to set up Outlook Express to your 'News (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.faq)

I will tell you what is wrong for me. I can't post easily. The news program rejects my posts because of an incompatibility between Outlook Express and Lugnet. This means that I have things to post, but I won't post them. It is entirely too dificult (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

Do you have the account set to connect via your local network? I use Outlook Express, and when I use that setting, I can't get through. If I set it to connect via dial-up connection, wait 'till it brings up the connect dialog box, then hit "cancel" (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

I am assuming that you mean you use Outlook Express with IE5.5, if so, hopefully this will help. If not, just ignore my post. :-) Under the Tools menu there is a 'Get next 300 headers' command which should help. There is also a 'get next headers' (...) (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.general)
