That made me curious, since I primarily use Outlook Express for reading
Lugnet. Outlook Express does allow filtering news (although I never
tried setting up a filter until Frank mentioned it) which can highlight
messages or mark them as read, based on the subject content and the
particular newsgroup (as well as other criteria). I'll have to set up
some filters of my own.
I know many people don't like Outlook Express for reading news. Why?
It's not easy to figure out, but I haven't found much it won't do.
