  Compiler Errors keep my board from loading
 
Help!! I don't know how to fix compiler errors! Specifically, I received the following error: "Compiler error! 47 extra bytes left on board stack. " and I don't know how to fix it. Over the weekend I was looking for a Lego fix. Target had the 5976 River Expedition set at a retail price of $49.99. A visit to Shopko, however, found it at $39.99, plus the 20% off sale on all Lego (expires this Saturday) brought the price down to (...)   It works! iMac and RIS
 
I've seen a lot of "it *should* work" or "it *might* work" type of postings, but nothing specific indicating that you really can use the Lego Mindstorms RIS on an iMac using Virtual PC. I got it to work, and I thought I ought to post the (...) (27 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I've just got the IntelliMouse Explorer. I had problems at first on my Simpson's mouse mat, but then I tried it straight onto the desk top. It's very good and I have no problems with it at speed. One thought I will inject here... Perhaps we should concentrate on 'known active parts' first. Look at the current year sets as soon as they become available. Look at the colors available. Do you see something in there that you would like a large (...) (27 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Adam, As far as interfacing to external devices, the inexpensive ones are wheel encoders, IR ranging, bumpers, sound sensors and visible light sensors. I just found in a mixed parts lot, five 2x2x3 yellow steep corner slopes and four 2x2x3 yellow steep slopes, the scarce parts from the 375/6075 castle.
