One thought I will inject here...
Perhaps we should concentrate on 'known active parts' first. Look at the
current year sets as soon as they become available. Look at the colors
available. Do you see something in there that you would like a large
quantity of ? If so, there is a good chance that those parts are
available, or easily produced, at Enfield. If we can focus our first
attempt on those parts, it will create less descent within TLG. Make it
an easy order for TLG to fill.

| (...) That may or may not be true, though. I remember reading several accounts that indicate that TLG makes just enough of a part to fill the need for that year's sets. So just because a certain Model Team truck has a couple of train doors in it (...) (25 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Rather than buying a bunch of buckets to part out to make money to try to come up with enough to try to persuade TLG into doing this (which is what I THINK I'm hearing Jodi suggest) I'd say we draw (...)
