Re: Liquidating my 400 pound LEGO collection

All right! I took December off and finally got the last of my smaller lots ready to go. After these auctions I have larger lot of mixed pieces I am getting ready to list next week hopefully. On to this week's offerings: (URL) mini-fig lot with over (...) (16 years ago, 3-Jan-09, to lugnet.market.auction, FTX)

  Re: Smoothing Question

(...) You could inline the subparts so that L3P outputs the triangles as one subpart. This will allow Mesh Enhancer to work on these triangle as one unit. Let me know if you need help with this. -Orion (16 years ago, 3-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Smoothing Question

I'm having some trouble getting a smooth surface on curved parts which do not have an LGEO substitue. Mesh Enhancer does a great job on triangular meshes, however there is a problem in parts with some sort of faceted symmetry. For example, the (...) (16 years ago, 3-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Mech Bay 15

(...) Me thinks that this is the 'cutest' mech moc I've seen you make. I love it! Lotsa nice little details! Visually stunning with eye candy Nicely done! Dave K (16 years ago, 3-Jan-09, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: ex-MILW Soo Line GP40

(...) Thanks, Dave! The cab design is all Benn, though. I just stole it and modified it slightly to fit my needs. (16 years ago, 2-Jan-09, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: ex-MILW Soo Line GP40

(...) Two great locomotive mocs in one week (yours and Tony's), it is shaping up to be a good year. Yeah, building in orange can be a bit of a challenge whenever you trip over those parts that should exist but don't. Just keep it away from Betty (...)   Re: Mmm... Beefy

(...) An excellent build with several innovative techniques (and a nice sampling of good ideas from others too). Now all you need are about 50 coal cars to push upgrade to complete the set (grin). Benn (16 years ago, 2-Jan-09, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Mech Bay 15

(...) Best wishes for 2009 to you too. This is another fine piece of work. Some of the design elements remind me of castle builts I saw. There is so much detail in this. The removeable upper part is a great idea. The personel on your bay seems to (...) (16 years ago, 2-Jan-09, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Mmm... Beefy

  Re: Mech Bay 15

(...) Nice work! A smaller scale than the earlier Mech Bays, but still nicely detailed, with some interesting design elements. The name plate is a nice touch too! Spotlighted! Thanks for sharing. Richie Dulin CO Legeaux (16 years ago, 2-Jan-09, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Ballast Studies & Guides for LEGO 9V Train Track

(...) Dave, The ballasted track looks great. I must admit, having seen 6 or 8 LEGO train displays I never appreciated the effort required to ballast curved track. Now I know better. My only suggestion would be to add some jumper plates to the mix. (...) (16 years ago, 2-Jan-09, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: ex-MILW Soo Line GP40

(...) Matt- This is awesome! I looked at your Flickr pictures and there is just so much SNOT on this MOC. It's dripping! I love the way you captured the worn paint and the cab design rocks. Excellent work! -Dave ToT-LUG (16 years ago, 2-Jan-09, to lugnet.trains)

Fire Station - Modular with Furnished Interior

I built this modular fire station a couple of years ago and am just getting around to posting it now. I started working on this building back in 2004 and it took me about three years to finally get it where I wanted it. I initially had a two-story (...)   Re: Still no zip file for 2008-01?

(...) That seems better than what I get. I had the loading parts window never go away, and when I exited and restarted Bricksmith, it just shows that window for a little bit and then crashes. This is what I see in the console log: 2009-01-01 (...) (16 years ago, 2-Jan-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)
